JUDGE'S NOTES

I was pleased to find the vast majority of exhibits with good ear carriage & only one incorrect bite; also the extremes of body shape seem to have disappeared. I know it is supposed to be a natural breed but a little more attention to presentation & handling would not go amiss.

8 months brindle; typical head & good bite; strong neck into well laid shoulders; moved soundly with enthusiasm; a little lacking in ribs & showing too much daylight underneath at the moment. RBD.

2nd

BROCKLAND BRAYHEAD LAD

"Barney"

10 months; well presented & moved soundly but lacks strength in head at present; strong neck into good shoulders; would have preferred more length of back.

3rd

AMHARD CUT A DASH

"Charlie"

11 months & at an awkward stage; he has an adult head on a puppy body; strong head; good bite & ear carriage; strong neck into reasonable shoulders; good length of back but lacks strength in his hindquarters.

Typical head with good ear carriage; would have liked more slope to the shoulder & more forechaest; moved soundly when he tried; good topline; strong quarters.

Not the largest of dogs but mature, sound & well proportioned; heavily boned & a good mover; a strong head; good ear carriage; strong neck; correct topline; good shoulders & well ribbed; good length of back & well muscled. BD & BOB.

Good length of back & topline but would like more strength in her head; well boned & muscled; moved well.
