6 months wheaten puppy. Nice type with good head and eye; correct bite; strong neck and good body proportions. Both he and his handler were at their first show and they both need training! However, this young owner must persevere and his grooming and presentation must be improved.

This 18 mths blue/brindle really caught my eye as he came into the ring. Solid, masculine, medium sized dog with excellent head. Good width of skull and powerful foreface. Good expression. Lovely shoulder and outline; super bone. Well handled and presented. Really sound mover when he settled to the job. Best Dog.

Another 18 mths dog of good breed type. Good head and eye but not so strong in foreface as 1. Good neck and body properties. Not quite so positive in movement as 1.

2½ yrs wheaten. Very masculine dog with great head properties; lovely foreface. Strong neck and front assembly. Good strong topline. Quality coat; strong bone and soundest mover in this class. Reserve Best Dog.

PINES MITHRIDATES OF GARSCH
"Casey"
5 yrs wheaten dog of good breed type. Good masculine headpiece; strong neck and correct outline. Didn't enjoy being gone over on the table, but relaxed on the ground. He moved well enough but would benefit from losing a pound or two in weight.

What a lovely puppy shown in immaculate condition. She has all the essentials - pretty head and expression; correct neck and front; ideal outline; good bone etc. Stringly made all through yet feminine, she just needs experience and time. I shall follow her career with interest. Best Puppy.

4 yrs blue - surely the ultimate Glen showgirl! Solidly built and yet feminine throughout, this outstanding bitch has a super headpiece with good eye and expression. She has correct skull and muzzle balance with strong bite, strong neck and shoulders leading into correct backline. Her owner handles and presents her to perfection and really gets her going. All this added up to BOB.

Not the glamour of 1, her half sister [correction: litter sister], but an honest quality bitch. Well shaped head with strong skull and foreface plus super dark eye. Good harsh jacket, shapely body and a very sound mover.

Now 8 and a half years this wheaten bitch was shown in great condition and fettle that belies her years. Great Glen type with lovely head and eye; good neck and forequarters and strong backline. She moves very soundly. Harsh jacket. Strongly built throughout yet feminine, she was my best bitch when I last judged the breed and on the day was in no way disgraced to stand behind her daughter. Reserve Best Bitch.

Just coming up 10 years; super breed type and a great laster. Blue/brindle masculine dog with great head proportions, strong muscular body and great bone. Shown in super harsh coat and hard condition, this good Glen was not quite so positive in movement on the day as his kennel mate and they changed places from the last time I judged them as then he was my Best of Breed. I note he is the sire of the both the BOB and BP winners [correction: he is a half brother to the BOB winner]. These two veterans are a credit to their owner!
