It is some time since I judged the breed and as in all breeds, some things improve, some deteriorate. I noticed that quite a few animals had incorrect shoulder and upper arm placement, being slightly upright which I think has to be watched as strength of front is important. Type seems to have improved somewhat and there is not quite so much variance in size now as there used to be. |

3 yrs brindle bitch with good head and expression; also a good mouth. Ears could be better set. Good topline, front and hindquarters. Sound with very stylish movement. In good coat and well presented. Best Bitch and Best of Breed. |
6 yrs blue/brindle. Excellent head and good mouth, with strong jaws. A masculine dog; good bone and substance without being coarse. Almost perfect construction; all angles correct with good topline. Sound with excellent movement. Only lost out to the bitch in the challenge as he was out of coat. Best Dog. |
