The last day of 2001, Monday 31st December, dawned bright and sunny, with a sprinkling of snow carpeting the ground. We took Rory and Breege up the Downs for their last walk of the year. What a glorious walk ... clear blue, cloudless skies, brilliant sunshine, fabulous views of the beautiful Sussex countryside and sparkling, crunchy white snow underfoot ... and the joy of watching the dogs, (especially Rory), enjoying the novelty of the snow!
